Temple of Kharnoth

This austere temple of Kharnoth the Unbroken, lord of the shield wall, stands in the Deneskid Heights northwest of Tharxa. Tharax has no separate clergy; the Thirty double as its priests. The Phymun hold that Kharnoth was a mortal captain of the Century of Fire who died on his feet in a line of locked shields and never fell. They believe he still stands behind every phalanx, with the honored dead behind the living. At every Phymon feast an empty chair is set for him with a full plate, which the Bound clear.
