The Long Dark

The camp of Lilvuq, the hunter who guided Statha north of the ice; about forty people. Every Uusung camp meets here once a year for the Long Dark Vigil: on the first night the sun fails to rise, the eldest go out and speak the names of that year's dead to the Lights so they can find the door. Lilvuq has spoken them for forty years, and his granddaughter Jaamang, who has gone south to Krasvuv, is learning the list.
