The Sun Cathedral

The great church of the Radiant Iévaine in Solvaine, whose golden dome can be seen across the lake at dawn. It faces east so that the Sun's daily repayment of its debt can be witnessed, and its interior is lined with mirrors and gold leaf for dawn processions, choirs and incense. Solvaine lenders will not sign a contract on a day the dome is in cloud, because the Sun is not watching.
