The Tandosa Coast

Castavar's western seaboard runs around Tandosa near the mouth of the Llovo, and it is the home of the realm's navy and its fishing fleets. The coast lives on the sea: sardines salted in barrels, octopus dried on lines in every village, and the spring tuna netted offshore as a royal monopoly. Umbrella pines along the shore supply galleon masts. Its sailors swear their first oaths on seawater, and the Salt-Sworn faith runs deep here, though the Berrode pretends otherwise.
