Vareth

Vareth was the kingdom of the northern Heartlands, one of the signers of the Accord of Surmave in 0 R. It spent its first century marrying into Wessary's royal house, and in 151 King Hethbael of Vareth married Queen Sildith of Wessary; their son Hethmed Tulvard became the first king of Aldmere in 178. The Vareth Reeve-Clans were absorbed into Aldmere's shires around 200, and their reeves later became the burgher-reeves of the Moot. Its court hand is the ancestor of Aldmere's Hearthscript, and the Marsh Reeds still speak old Vareth.
