Clan Barerk

The northeastern clan land along the River Barerk, with its city at Barmin and a whaling coast facing the northern sea. Its longships made the Barerk Raid of 763, rowing down the northeast coast to sack Shanyo. The clan taxes but cannot control the Barerk Whalers who live on its coast, and its shores hold both Salt-Sworn and Sun-Turners. The great Barerk whale of the northern sea is named for it; one whale feeds a clanhold for a winter.
