Palace of Measured Harmony

The vermilion-walled palace at the center of Kokrin, seat of the Jade Throne. Its parks keep golden Kokrin pheasants, and its ponds hold carp bred in every color and the Kokrin lotus. Here Emperor Tokrai Shaiku lies propped on cushions, drifting in and out, and here his ministers took back the seal he gave his daughter, "for safekeeping."
