The Chaiyo Estuaries

The estuaries around Chaiyo at the mouth of the Muhau, home of the Chaiyo Boat-People, about six thousand, who live on junks, fish the tuna run, and have not touched land in generations. Kaishon taxes their catch at the dock and has no other hold on them, and they trade with the Salt Brotherhood when it comes east. The hairy coast crab of the estuaries is an autumn delicacy.
