the Craucan

The Craucan is the great stud of the Llovo March, west of Grarañe, where the Castavari destrier is bred. The destrier is the finest and most prized warhorse on Aethorra and the mount of Castavar's heavy cavalry and knightly orders. Paddocks and stables spread among the cork oaks near the river. An old wives' tale holds that a destrier that will not cross the Llovo is carrying a rider who will die in the Sunmaw.
